Uluwatu air tour on helicopter

God! I was on the flight on helicopter!

Gee..... It was so exciting! Driver picked up us at Nikko Bali at 8.30 am, then he drive us (3 of us) on Toyota- Avansa car to the airport. The sky was really clear and sunny, just perfect for a flight tour! The transfer to airport Ngurah Rai was within 20 minutes, there was not so many vehicles on the street, although it was Tuesday-week day.

It was 3 of us that will be on board the helicopter that actually can accommodate up to 4 persons, the AirBali staff helped us to pass the security check at the entrance gate and passed through boarding tables to the second floor, once again we went through security check, then the AirBali crew took us to the first level again to his car, this time it was Toyota-Kijang, directly to the edge of the airport where we find the helicopter itself parking there "beautifully" :) (note: at this area we smell something terrible.... I couldn't stand to shut my mouth and I asked the air crew, 'what is that smells?' they replied 'there are the pools with contents of plane toilets.......' goodness....no wonder why it's so smelly there... #_#)

When we were on board of the helicopter we were so excited and even we didn't realize that the earphones didn't work properly.... :( (Later on friend of mine complained about the same thing...come on Air Bali, fix the earphones!)

Then the pilot turn on the helicopter's engine, pushing and turning on some knobs, and voila! We took off! For a while the "nose" of the helicopter was lower than the tail, and it's scared me a little...., but then when we took off high enough from the ground, the helicopter's position was good with an open wide view from the cabin! Oh my goodness.... what a view! Jesus, I remembered my first time on the helicopter when I was a little girl, about 6 years old, It was scared me till death! But now, I feel like I'm gonna fly myself!!! EXCITED, and no fear at all.

Our tour was Uluwatu tour, the flight time should be 30 minutes. And when we started to fly, we passed the famous Jimbaran bay on the left side of us, the bay so gorgeous! Then I saw the Four Seasons, the Ritz Carlton and all that cliffs around the Island that reach Uluwatu temple itself on the top, the temple is so beautiful towering above the ocean for about 100 meters! Awesome. Just before Uluwatu we saw a beautiful quite long beach, with golden sand, dreamland! No wonder why people like to visit this place even if they are not surfers, the beauty of this beach magnificent!

Then I saw a lot of hotels, small, big, and even private villas on very nice location with unbelievably fantastic views! Then I took few pictures of the ocean that visually united with the sky.... gorgeous! I felt the power of the God who created it all...

I caught our helicopter's shadow on the ocean on camera! And the fisherman's boat, sailing all alone....

Lush rain-forests are still available here in Bali, yes! I'm happy that people didn't cut them all. I found quite a long beach after Uluwatu, with golden sandy beach... goodness, awesome! There was no one on the beach! Why? Not accessible??? I don't know yet, but I have to find out later. I saw a quite big hotel, with interesting kind of escalator going down the cliffs right to the beach!!! Awesome. Then after this hotel but before Nikko Bali Resort I saw how Balinese grow up the seaweed in the ocean, interesting, very clean and accurately. Nikko towering gorgeously, alone. Then I saw the temple (forgot the name), then The Bale's private beach, new resort's construction are going on, the Ayodya with it's quite long and wide nice golden beach, and all those nusa dua hotels, we head tanjung benoa a little and turn left then fly above the Island. I saw the huge statue of Wishnu at Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, lush rain-forest, tiny roads, and our direction was the airport, we're going back! I felt the wind blew quite strong and the pilot was quite experienced, I guess, he could managed this problem very well. We landed softly, and that's it! Our wonderful trip on the helicopter.

Once again we were delivered to the hotel, but this time by car! :))
